Levels and the clinical significance of sFlt-1 levels in the early acute coronary syndrome patients |

Abstract Objective: To explore the clinical values of the peripheral soluble fmslike tyrosine kinase receptor 1(sFlt1) levels in early acute coronary syndrome(ACS) patients. Methods: A total of 150 patients who were admitted to hospital in six hours after chest pain occurred were recruited and divided into control group (n=48) or acute coronary syndrome group(ACS, n=102), plasma sFlt1 were detected and compared between the two groups. Receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curve and area under curve(AUC) were analysed with SPSS 20.0 statistical software. Results: The levels of plasma sFlt1 in ACS group were significantly higher compared with that of the control group\[(361.7±288.0) pg/mL vs (126.2±49.6)pg/mL,P<0.01\]. For the diagnosis of ACS, the AUC of sFlt1 was 0.852. Conclusion: Plasma sFlt1 was significantly elevated in the early ACS patients, and it could be one of the earliest sensitive indicators in the diagnosis and risk estimation of ACS.
