The Application of Contingency Theory in the Collaborative Education of Graduate Students among Government, Business, University and Institute

Abstract The collaboration among government, business, university and institute is one of the important ways to improve graduate students' creativity and practice skills, and their comprehensive quality. Its status quo is analyzed in line with contingency theory. After comparing the five patterns of collaborative education, we point out the contingent factors that influence collaborative education of graduate students, set up a contingent mod- el, analyze the main problems and set down the thinking of optimization. The study and practice of the collaborative educational pattern are significant to the furthering of collaborative education and the better playing of graduate education in the national innovation system.
