Abstract Liu Zongyuan is an important figure among the Tang poets.His poems show diverse styles,with Tao Yuanming＇s simplicity,Xie Lingyun＇s exquisiteness and Li Sao＇s quiet and vigorous taste,in line with different genres,addressees,and creative state.His unique personal experience,his profound thoughts and artistic sensibility,in addition to the deep artistic and spiritual origin,crystallize into the vigorous,firm as well as simple scape of his poems.
