Marcuses humanistic thoughts had absorbed Marxs philosophy and the ideological achievements of Heidegger and Freud, thus expanding the social critical theories of the Frankfurt School. On this basis, with the “onedimensional person” as the core and the full freedom and overall liberation of man as the final destination, he had gradually constructed the critical theory of humanism. His critical theory of humanism about human subjectivity and human liberation has important theoretical and practical values for the development of peoplecentered thoughts in the new era, and provides ideological references for the political, economic, cultural, social and ecological construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
