Abstract: Through literature review, it is found that the researches on the factors affecting the settlement of migrant workers in cities mainly focus on individual characteristics, family status, economic foundation and social psychology. Most of the existing literatures focus on the investigation of unregistered migrant workers willingness to settle down, and are short of indepth exploration of the actual urban household registration behavior and the transformation mechanism of “willingbehavior”. Most studies is based on empirical research methods but the hypothesis test findings are different. Therefore, further research needs to shift from willingness to behavioral research, and classify and compare the problems of migrant workers in different types of cities. At the same time, the new trend of urban household registration behavior of migrant workers in the context of rural revitalization strategy needs to be concerned.
