Abstract:With the promulgation of the Law of Public Servants, and the implementation of the public servant examination and recruitment system it is important to assess the validity of such a system from the following aspects:what items may truly help with good performance; performance, and superiors satisfaction of the recruited; whether the examinations truly reflect the examinees ability and are just and scientific enough. A study of Jiangsus practice shows that such a system has much to improve.
