Abstract:There have been numerous interpretations of “Shi Chu Yu Chen Si, Yi Gui Hu Han Zao” in the Preface of Anthology Compiled by Prince Zhao Ming, which affects our understanding of Xiao Tong’s(Prince Zhao Ming’s) selection criteria, literary interests, etc. Therefore, it is necessary to clarify this. Liu Xie, the author of Literary Mind and Carved Dragon, once held an office in Xiao Tong’s court. Since he was one of the prince’s intimates, he affected the prince’s academic view.
