The integration of production and education is not only the need of building an innovative country, but also that of cultivating applicationoriented talents in applicationoriented universities. Compared with the local key universities, the applicationoriented universities have low proportion of fulltime teachers, less teachers with doctor degrees and lower doctoral rate, and lower annual research funds and annual average research funds. In team building of producerteachers, there are some prominent problems, such as “weighing education background over ability”, “preferring theory to practice”, weak initiative and imperfect enlisting and training mechanism. From the perspective of producerteacher training in local applicationoriented universities, this paper expounds on the time orientation and requirements for the team building, probes how to establish a diversified and integrated producerteacher team, build a practiceoriented teaching team, and improve the evaluation mechanism, thus providing a reference for the construction of teaching staff in applicationoriented colleges and universities.
