Abstract In the standardized training for resident physicians, trainees are required to master the operating and diagnosing skills of electrocardiogram (ECG). However, it is challenging to be skilled during the standardized training due to the abstractness of ECG diagnosis. Centered around how to complete the teaching task of standardized training within the prescribed time period, this paper shares a set of training programme and the related teaching methods, which could effectively improve the trainees ECG diagnostic and analytic abilities, and provide references for ECG teaching in the standardized training for resident physicians.
