Abstract Coronavirus exist extensively in the nature which can infect birds and mammals, including human beings. In the past 17 years, all the three lethal zoonotic diseases that caused by coronavirus are proved to be highly infectious diseases. Coronavirus has become a major threat to human beings. Patients infected by coronavirus may present multiple electrocardiographic(ECG) abnormalities, and even induces ventricular fibrillation resulting in poor prognosis. ECG is a reliable tool to evaluate heart’s electrical rhythm. It can be used to detect the cardiac injury early in clinic. Therefore, it is necessary to pay close attention to ECG abnormalities and potential arrhythmias in infected patients. Early recognition and pretreatment in patients with highrisk of abnormal ECG characteristics are essential to prevent adverse clinical events. Continuous ECG monitoring is feasible if necessary.
