Application of the Einthoven triangle principle on judging the misconnection of ECG limb leads |
|
|
Abstract The standard connection of ECG leads lays the foundation for accurate interpretation. By case analysis using the Einthoven triangle principle, this paper explores the evolution rule of ECGs with various types of limb leads misconnection, and introduces the ways to make simple, quick and general judgement of the type of limb lead misconnection. It also explains how to correct the limb lead misconnected ECGs, which has some referential significance for ECG clinicians.
