Application of Poincaré scatterplot and time RR interval scatterplot in evaluating atrial fibrillation |
|
|
Abstract ECG scatterplot is based on nonlinear theory. With highly concentrated data as the basis and the use of graphical means, longrange ECG data are transformed into “visible” graphs of the whole heart beats. It provides effective method for the diagnosis of atrial fibrillation and helps to distinguish the types of autonomic nerves so as to guide the application of antiarrhythmic drugs. This paper reviews in the diagnosis of the principle of scatterplot and its application in the diagnosis of atrial fibrillation, and summarizes the application of scatterplot in clinical practice.
