Heart failure and ventricular arrhythmia |
|
|
Abstract Various heart diseases lead to hear failure(HF) at their endstage. Patients complicated by ventricular arrhythmia(VA) account for as many as 30% of HF cases, and their survival rate is lower than that of HF patients without VA. HF and VA usually degenerates to each other, forming a vicious circle. The patients with HF and VA are required to seek for adequate therapies according to guidelines. For HF cases with decreasing left ventricular ejection fraction, it is suggested to implant ICD. Early intervention is needed in the catheter ablation of ICDimplanted patients. If necessary, sympathetic ganglionectomy is feasible.
