Research advance of clinical application of sudden cardiac death predictors of Tpeak-Tend interval and Tp-Te/QT ratio |
|
|
Abstract Tpeak-Tend interval(Tp-Te) refers to the duration from the peak to the end time points of T wave in electrocardiogram. It has been revealed by domestic and foreign researchers that Tp-Te and Tp-Te/QT ratio contribute to making prediction and risk evaluation of malignant ventricular arrhythmias. These two parameters closely relate to the onset of various cardiovascular diseases leading to sudden cardiac death. In addition, as simple, fast and non-invasive indicators, they have been playing more and more important roles in providing information for clinical application such as implantable cardioverter defibrillator implantation.
