Abstract This paper summarizes the experience of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in constructing ECG network information management and remote consultation platform in accordance with its workflows, through personalized customization of software. [JP]Doctors of Cardiac Function Department developed part of software of the system by themselves(mainly ECG automatic diagnostic software), and improved the intelligent assistant diagnostic function of the platform. At present, the platform combined various functions, such as ECG information collection, digital storage and analysis, data management, scientific research, education, turn booking, self printing, remote consultation, Web browse, wireless network application, and integration with other hospital information systems, etc. It significantly enhanced professional proficiency of doctors, normalized the finalperiod management of data, facilitated the accumulation and recycling of clinical data, and also saved a large amount of manpower and material resources for the hospital.
