Abstract:ObjectiveTo discuss the value of dynamic electrocardiogram (DCG) in the diagnosis of pediatric arrhythmia and heart rate variability. Methods A total of 150 cases of children, who had been diagnosed cardiac arrhythmia in pediatric department our hospital from August 2010 to August 2012,were enrolled in the study. The static electrocardiogram (ECG) and DCG examination were performed on the children successively;and compared the two methods of the detection rate in arrhythmia, the relationship between arrhythmia and heart rate variability. Results The dynamic electrocardiogram were higher than the static electrocardiogram in the detection rate of supraventricular tachycardia, ventricular tachycardia, ventricular premature beat, atrial premature beat and intraatrial block, the difference had statistical significance (P<0.05). The ventricular arrhythmia children with heart rate variability compared to the nonventricular arrhythmia children had statistical significance (P<0.05). ConclusionThe DCG in the diagnosis of pediatric arrhythmia has a higher sensitivity and accuracy,if measures the heart rate variability at the same time, the assessing of disease and the estimating of prognosis will have more clinical significance,it is worthy of clinical application.
