Abstract In the design process of electric part of discharging waterlog pumping station of middle and smallscale, which form can be taken to start asynchronous motor is determined through the calculation of bus voltagedrop of low pressure when actuating motor. Aimed at the existed problem in this calculation and with the casecalculation of Chaiwan station, the influence of impedance such as high pressure transformer, low-pressure,other loads and actuation of motor to bus voltage drop is analyzed. The correct calculation method and whatshould pay attention to are stated.
