Cultural foundation of entrepreneurship education in China′s universities: theoretical interpretation and consolidated paths |

Abstract Innovation and entrepreneurship education has become the essence of top talent training in China′s universities. In culture generation original meaning, entrepreneurship education, as survival, development and innovation education, could cultivate creativity and build entrepreneurship cultural foundation. However, lack of profound cultural foundation restricts university entrepreneurship education quality. From the perspective of culture and philosophy, and taking entrepreneurship education cultural identity as the logical starting point, the paper illustrates entrepreneurship education′s cultural foundation: innovation and entrepreneurship are important manifestations of human beings′ creative culture; entrepreneurship education is an inevitable form of cultural connotation evolution in universities. The paper explores consolidated paths like inheriting cultural genes, strengthening value identification, enhancing multiple capabilities, and optimizing and consolidating mechanisms, to construct culture foundation and provide theoretical references from cultural construction perspective for university entrepreneurship education.
