Abstract With the evolution of the world political pattern and the rise of new technological revolution, internationalization has become the inevitable trend of educational reform and development. Due to the political, economic, social/cultural and academic influence, Germany accelerates the internationalization of vocational education reform. By making the adjustment of the degree system, the introduction of credit system, building the lifelong learning qualification framework and other initiatives, German vocational education achieves the transferability, compatibility and versatility with other countries′ vocational education system. In the process of constructing modern vocational education system with both Chinese characteristics and the world level, the German experience of internationalization reform of vocational education is of great significance and valuable to the internationalization of vocational education in our country.
