Abstract 2015 is a fruitful year for higher education research. In this paper, CiteSpace is used as a tool to make analysis of the development of higher education research in China in 2015. This paper mainly focuses on the development of higher education research in the following aspects: higher education discipline construction, governance of higher education, higher education teaching reform, modern vocational education system, innovation and entrepreneurship education, higher education quality construction and assurance, higher education comprehensive reform and strategic planning, higher education policy and Think Tank establishment, etc. The paper remarks on related innovative viewpoints and research prospects, and summarizes the characteristics of such research.
