Abstract The transdisciplinary logic consists of the systematic logic of the structure of knowledge productivity, the ubiquitous logic of the category of knowledge production relations and the applied logic of the occurrence of knowledge production order. The main problems of "new disciplines" construction of universities with industrial characteristics is the structural contradiction of knowledge productivity always exists, the internal consistency and external synergy of knowledge production relations are weak, and the practical value orientation of knowledge production order is blurred. As a general consensus and concerted action of the industrycharacteristic universities to promote the construction of "new disciplines", the transdisciplinary logic can help the construction of "new disciplines" in the industrycharacteristic universities. The specific ways include enriching the organizational form of "new disciplines", stimulating the personnel momentum of "new disciplines", and deepening the reform of "new disciplines" system.
