Abstract The college students′ network circle group has the dual attributes of "technical space" and "living space", which realizes the effective connection of school classroom scenes, social life scenes and cyberspace scenes, and promotes the dissemination of ideological and political education discourse in colleges and universities to a certain extent. At the same time, the essence and resource advantages of ideological and political education in colleges and universities also require that it must cover the online circle of college students, which is the inevitable result of deeply grasping the current situation of the dissemination of ideological and political education discourse network circles. On the other hand, the discourse dissemination of ideological and political education in colleges and universities in the network circle is also facing the coexistence of "multiple scenes" and "information cocoons" in space, the "macro rigor" in the discourse structure to "fragmented disorder", discourse resources leading to "information addiction" due to "information overload", discourse connotation changing from "emotion primacy" to "group polarization" and other practical challenges. Furthermore, these challenges divide the cohesion of discourse communication, deconstruct the integrity of the discourse system, dilute the attraction of discourse resources, and weaken the dominant power of discourse connotation. In this regard, colleges and universities should optimize the communication channels of ideological and political education discourse by realizing the discourse interaction inside and outside the circle, combining rational statutes and interest diversion, integrating multiple cooperation with collaborative guidance, improving the integration of expression and emotional embedding, etc.
