Abstract As the political character and spiritual temperament at the bottom of the political quality of teachers for ideological and political education in college curriculum, the political ground mainly relies on teachers′ sense of political direction, political sensitivity and political view of right and wrong to provide a solid and lasting internal guarantee for the fundamental nature of ideological and political education in curriculum and teachers′ subjective consciousness. Strengthening the political ground of teachers for ideological and political education in college curriculum is the political requirement of the Party and the State, the theoretical requirement of the philosophy of education, and the practical requirement of ideological and political education in curriculum practice. To strengthen the political ground of teachers for ideological and political education in college curriculum, teachers should pay attention to reflective practice, colleges should build the platform for teacher collaboration, education departments should organize effective teacher training.
