Abstract At present, the nostalgia of the public for the university indicates that the reform of higher education has reached its most difficult stage and deepest part. The university should keep a certain distance from society while it responds to the needs of the market. In other words, the universitys sociality, independence, public benefit, diversity and specialty should all be taken into consideration. At the same time, the university should play a leading role in social culture by constructing its institutional culture, returning to the essence of education, improving its internal governing structure and creating a favorable environment for scientific research.
