Abstract Campus atmosphere is both objective judgment and subjective perception of the campus environment as it is related to interpersonal, academic, and professional interactions. It also refers to the experience of students and faculty as individuals or groups on a campus and the quality and extent of the interaction between those various groups and individuals. The inclusiveness campus atmosphere in University of California Berkeley (UCB) mainly includes these five aspects: historical background and context of campus “diversity”, commitment and support on the policy level, inclusiveness in research and teaching activities, structure diversity and interaction and communication between the groups.
