Abstract Artificialintelligence ( AI ) isconstantly iterated and upgraded , which has shown the development prospects of empowering teaching and research management in universities ,by innovating management elements, updating management methods,optimizing management services, and improving the management ecology.However , it is also faced with risks such as digital ethics violations , exacerbation of the digital divide , rational disorder of individuals , and alienation of human-AI relationships.Therefore , it is necessary for universities to enhance the digital literacy of teachers and students in harnessing AI , strengthen the"new infrastructure"of
teaching and research management based on AI , deepen the innovation of teaching and research management system empowered by AI.
