Abstract The promoting role of university entrepreneurship for social and economic development has become increasingly obvious in time of knowledgebased economy, which intensifies universitys function of social service. Based on its regional context, the National University of Singapore has adopted the internationalization strategy to drive entrepreneurial transformation. In this process, global space are developed and broadened for talent cultivation, scientific research and universityindustry cooperation, making it an exceptional path in building entrepreneurial university. Internationalizationdriven strategy has reconstructed traditional teaching and research function of university and greatly enriched the connotation of entrepreneurial university, from which rich experience can be drawn for universities in latedeveloped countries to achieve entrepreneurial transformation.
