Abstract:Transformation of university curriculum paradigm means that the university curriculum is no longer a “frame” and “plan” but a practical activity, thus the curriculum and teaching being unseparated; that it is no longer simply the institutional knowledge but the practice of practical subjects, thus the curriculum, teachers and students being unseparated; that it is not a single system design but the result of the power game among the related curriculum subjects, thus the curriculum and the school being unseparated; and that it is the construction of an ideal, value, the interests, emphasizing teachers and students pursuit of freedom and its realization. Along with construction and development of universities in China, transformation of the university curriculum paradigm indicates that the subject of the curriculum, the subject relationship and practice should become the starting point of our thinking and breakthrough point of the reform of the university curriculum.
