Abstract:In the education sector, it is from everyday language rather than a philosophical point of view that one understands the connotation of practical education. With the development of higher education, practical education should be understood from a philosophical perspective today. Practical education is to cultivate students practical ability, innovativeness and good character through practical activities. It bears the features of subjectivity, practicality, process, comprehensiveness and reality. Strengthening practical education does not necessarily weaken theoretical teaching. Practical education is not only suitable for the technological university and the applicationoriented university. In view of the problems with practical education in China, we should do some things as follows: making education oriented at practice, introducing practice into the classroom, creating a good practical education environment and constructing a practiceoriented evaluation system.
