Abstract:Three types of aminatedhypercrosslinked polymeric adsorbents were successfully prepared. The static dynamics of adsorption for phenol and aniline onto adsorbents from aqueous solution were studied. Effects of temperature and initial concentration on the adsorption were also investigated. The results show that the adsorption of phenol is pushed by physical and chemical interaction, while the adsorption of aniline is mainly pushed by physical interaction. The specific surface area of adsorbent decreases with the increasing of amido content, leading to the block within the resin pore by amido and decreasing of diffusion rate constant. The correlation coefficient is over 0.98, which shows that both of Lagergren and Kannan-Sundaram models can illuminate the adsorption process very well. All regressing curves by Kannan-Sundaram model are not through origin of coordinates, which indicates that the adsorption rate is affected by diffusion inside particulate and diffusion of membrane.
