Abstract:To solve the problems of weak independent research ability, low technical content, poor equipment reliability and high economic cost in water-saving irrigation technology, a roll wheel line move sprinkling irrigation machine was designed which can save aluminum alloy material, reduce fuel consumption, and is more reliable and has high sprinkler irrigation uniformity. According to the mechanical characteristics of water pipes, by using Matlab to optimize the design of the thickness of water pipes, the optimized water pipes with three different thickness can save material and increase climbing ability. The structure of the automatic drain valve was designed, its important parameters were calculated, and the simulation experiment was carried out by ANSYS CFX. The field performance test result shows that the roll wheel line move′s indicators meet the requirements. When the sprinkler moves forward, the maximum deflection of water pipes is 2.7 m, irrigation uniformity is 92.45%, irrigation intensity is 12.59mm/h. The study can provide a reference for the further development of a roll wheel line move sprinkling irrigation machine.
