497 Modeling and simulating of novel hydro-pneumatic spring based on AMESim

To solve the difficulty of space assembling for traditional hydro-pneumatic springs due to the complex structures, a novel hydro-pneumatic spring with single gas cell was proposed. The structure and principle of the proposed hydropneumatic spring were introduced and simplified to obtain physical model. The dynamic model was established by AMESim software. An external characteristic test for the hydro-pneumatic spring was conducted to verify the accuracy of dynamic model. One quarter of the vehicle model was built up to compare the simulations of the vehicles equipped with hydro-pneumatic spring and without hydro-pneumatic spring. The results show that the novel hydro-pneumatic spring can obviously enhance the vehicle ride comfort with decreased vehicle vibration.

502 Global optimization of super mini vehicles suspension in full range of sprung mass

In order to keep ride comfort of super mini vehicle well at all range of sprung mass, a dynamic model of the half vehicle with 5DOF was established. In the proposed model, the centroid was defined by the change of sprung mass. A technique of two dimensional multiobjective based on simulated annealing algorithm was developed. The actual vehicle passage situation, the weighted sum of the seat mass acceleration, front and rear suspension working space(SWS), front and rear dynamic type displacement (DTD) and the dynamic body posture with different loads were taken as optimization objectives, while the damper and stiffness coefficients of suspension were taken as optimum variables. The optimum simulation data were compared to give the improved seat mass accelerations of 17.58% and 19.03% at the speed of 50 km·h-1 with 75 kg and 150 kg passenger mass, respectively. The other parameters can still satisfy the performance requirements. The test results can verify the correctness of the simulation model and the validity of the proposed method. After optimization, the comfort lowering limit value with different loads and speeds are increased, and the ride comfort is improved significantly.

508 Performance experiment of integrated system with car electromagnetic and frictional brakes

At the test bench of integrated system with electromagnetic and frictional brakes, the blend brake torque comparison was conducted with various air gap, maximum supplying current, electromagnetic brake coil turns and brake disc material. The relationship among blend brake torque, electromagnetic brake torque and frictional brake torque, and the influence of different parameters on the blend brake torque were investigated. The results show that air gap, supplying current of electromagnetic brake coil, electromagnetic brake coil turns and brake disc material all have influences on the total torque of integrated system. With consideration of two factors of performance and installation, the optimum air gap and maximum supplying current of electromagnetic brake coil are 2 mm and 15 A with electromagnetic brake coil turns of 820×4 for copper brake disc. For those vehicles with gross mass more than 1 200 kg, the maximum supplying current of electromagnetic brake coil can be increased to 25 A.

513 Feature extraction of tire section based on fuzzy clustering and morphology

 The features of tire section were difficult to be extracted by the traditional edge detection methods because of the small difference of gray value between rubbers in the tire section image and the fuzzy boundaries. An algorithm was proposed to extract the features of tire section by combining multilevel fuzzy enhancement, fuzzy Cmeans clustering and morphology. The regions of steel wires were removed to transform the gray values of image. The multilevel fuzzy enhancement was used to increase the contrast between rubbers. The rubber regions were effectively segmented by fuzzy Cmeans clustering, and the boundaries were extracted by morphology. The features of tire section were obtained by stacking the boundary of each region and adding steel wires. Experiments of tire section image were conducted under different light conditions. The results show that the algorithm can effectively solve the problem of small gray value difference between rubbers in the image of tire section and extract the features of tire section with good applicability to different light conditions.

518 Emission spectrum from dielectric barrier discharge plasma under atmosphere pressure

Abstract:  The spectrum intensity of dielectric barrier discharge was determined by Maya2000pro spectrometer to investigate the discharge micromechanism under atmosphere pressure. The effects of discharge parameters, volume flow rate and gas composition on spectrum intensity were discussed. The active substance and discharge mechanism were investigated according to emission spectrum. The experimental results show that the transition radiation spectrum of second positive system is produced by nitrogen discharge. The spectrum intensity of nitrogen discharge is increased with the increasing of discharge peakpeak voltage and discharge frequency. The generated species of nitrogen discharge are not affected by discharge parameter. The volume flow rate has slight effect on characteristic spectrum intensity for constant discharge power. Penning effect and decreased  peakpeak voltage are observed when argon is added into the gas mixture.

522 Pressure fluctuation of unsteady flow in waterjet

Based RANS equations and SST turbulent model,the unsteady flow in waterjet was numerically simulated. The mesh independence analysis shows that calculated power and thrust are well consistent with experiment data with maximal error less than 4%. Under the conditions of ratedrotationalspeed and selfpropulsion, the timedomain and frequencydomain of pressure fluctuation at inlet and outlet of impeller, middle and outlet of stator were investigated. The results show that the maximum amplitude of pressure fluctuation appears at impeller inlet. The pressure fluctuation at impeller inlet from 80° to 140° radial direction is higher than that at other locations due to the nonuniform inflow. At both inlet and outlet of impeller, the peak frequency occurs at impeller blade passing frequency with fluctuation amplitude gradually increasing from hub to tip. Under the ratedrotationalspeed conditions, pressure fluctuation at impeller inlet of ratedshipspeed is the weakest. Under the selfpropulsion conditions, peak frequency and waterjet rotational speed present a linear relationship, and the pressure fluctuation intensity is increased with the ship speed.

528 Electromagnetic field simulation analysis of permanent magnet canned pump

In order to improve the performance of canned motor pump and shorten the design period, the numerical simulation of permanent magnetic canned motor was conducted by Ansoft. Two different built-in magnetic circuit structures of the magnetic canned pump were compared to analyze the influences of gap and shielding sleeve parameters on the permanent magnetic canned motor. A reasonable and improved design of shielding sleeve was proposed for the magnetic circuit structure with inverted U-shape. The distribution of magnetic vortex in stator and rotor shielding sleeves was investigated. The magnetic vortex losses with four shielding sleeve materials were solved. The results show that the magnetic vortex distribution in the shielding sleeves is symmetric. The magnetic vortex distribution in the stator shielding sleeve was relatively concentrated with higher magnetic vortex loss than that of the rotor shielding sleeve. The shielding sleeve with  HASTELLOY-C material can obtain low magnetic vortex loss to meet the design requirements.

533 Mesh optimization-based smoothing algorithm and its key influence factors analysis

To investigate the influences of element number, iteration number and required accuracy on optimization, a tetrahedron quality metric was chosen to establish objective function to propose a tetrahedral mesh optimization algorithm. Based on volute calculating example of a centrifugal pump, the influences of the key factors on the optimized mesh quality and time consuming were compared. The results show that the poorquality elements in the range from 0 to 0.1 are significantly reduced. The whole mesh quality can be improved obviously by the mesh optimizationbased smoothing algorithm. The average mesh quality and the time cost are increased with the increase of element number, but the worstquality element is fluctuant with one extremum. Iteration number has slight effect on the mesh quality and time cost. The mesh quality is improved with increased time cost by the increasing of required accuracy.

538 Calibration model maintenance method for transgenic  tomato discriminant

 To improve the model applicability of calibration model built from spectroscopy, the model maintenance is needed when the prediction precision of original model is poor for predicting new samples.The discriminant analysis (DA) was used to build transgenic tomato parent sample discriminant calibration model to predict sample ripeness with same batch at same ripeness stage, different batches at same ripeness stage and different batches at different ripeness stages. To improve model applicability, model update by adding new typical samples into original model and absorbance modification were adopted. The results indicate that calibration model can be employed to predict samples with same batch at same ripeness stage. The prediction performance of transgenic samples with different batches at same ripeness stage can be improved by model update, and the prediction performance of parent samples can be improved by absorbance modification. For predicting transgenic tomatoes and parent samples with same batch at different ripeness stage, the efficiency of absorbance modification is better than that of model update.

543 Regioselective oxidation of curdlan assisted by ultrasonic

The regioselective oxidation of curdlan primary hydroxyls was conducted by 4acetamideTEMPO/NaClO/NaClO2 oxidized system at pH value of 4.7 assisted by ultrasonic. The production of oxoammonium 4acetamideTEMPO+ can be promoted by ultrasonic with increased  reaction rate, and carboxylate content of oxidized products is increased about 30% for the same reaction time. The structural characterizations of oxidized products by FTIR and NMR indicate that the primary hydroxyls of curdlan are successfully oxidized to carboxylate groups assisted by ultrasonic, and the carboxylate content of resultant oxidized products is higher than that without ultrasonic. The effects of ultrasonic on molecular weight (MW) and molecular weight distribution (MWD) of oxidized products were further studied by SECMALLS. The results show that the influence of ultrasonic on MW and MWD of oxidized products is less than that of active radical species of reactive system in a given time. Compared with the situation without ultrasonic, the molecule of the oxidized products by ultrasonic is more uniform with smaller size of molecular chain.

549 Calibration and performance analysis on channel mismatch of multi-beam antenna on satellites

 To solve the mismatch effect of amplitude-and-phase errors on multibeam antenna performance, the radio frequency channel amplitude and phase errors of multibeam transmitting antenna on sa-tellite were experimentally measured to obtain the corresponding relations of channel amplitudeandphase mismatch and temperature, and to compensate the mismatch. The shell temperatures are almost same after temperature stabilization, which effectively results in channel consistency. Some methods were used to improve temperature consistency. Calibration of channel is the key to guarantee the performance indexes of multi-beam antenna on satellites. The calibration principle block diagram and flow chart of multi--beam transmitting antenna were designed. The theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the proposed calibration method is effective for calibration of multi-beam antenna on satellites.

555 Top-k query algorithm based on three-dimensional bracket bloom filter

To solve the problems of low query efficiency and multiple access to objects in NRA algorithm and BPA algorithms, an efficient topk query algorithm (TKBFP) was proposed based on three-dimensional bracket bloom filter (TF). TF was used for data processing in the algorithm to realize low false positive rate and access efficiency with reduced memory consumption. The optimal location index strategy was adopted to avoid multiple access to data objects. A strict semantic definition of TKBFP algorithm was given to deduce the number of hash function in each BF. The TKBFP algorithm was tested by the simulation platform of independent development java program to evaluate the efficiency and the storage perfor-mance of the algorithm. The results show that the algorithm can effectively avoid multiple access to data objects to obtain efficient query processing for large-scale data with low false positive rate. Compared with NRA and BPA, the proposed algorithm cost is reduced significantly when the attribute list number are more than four. The proposed algorithm is suitable for large-scale data query processing.

561 Design of laser pulse control card based on CPLD and MCU

In order to realize accurate output of single laser pulse at given position in laser micro-manufacturing field, a laser pulse control card was developed based on complex programmable logic device (CPLD) and MCU. The highspeed parallel communication between MCU and IPC was realized by CPLD to receive the feedback signals from the motion system, and to complete feedback signals fourfold frequency treatment. The counting and frequency dividing of the feedback signals pretreated by CPLD were completed by MCU to output the control signal of certain frequency and pulse width to laser Q-driver. The regular output of single laser pulse was realized by acoustic-optic Q-switched technology. The results show that the laser pulse control card can integrate the respective advantages of CPLD and MCU to reduce external circuit module and decrease the production cost with improved system stability. Based on the coordinated control of motion control system and output of single laser pulse by the laser pulse control card, the output of single laser pulse at given position is precisely and successfully realized to ensure high efficiency and quality of the laser micromanufacturing.

567 Low-frequency sound absorptivity improvement of micro-perforatedpanel absorber by elastic supported backwall

In order to improve lowfrequency sound absorptivity, the basic structure of rigid backwall in MPA was substituted by elastic support backwall. The improvement was investigated through theoretical calculation and experiments. The matrix of elastic support backwall was deduced by equivalent circuit diagram and connected in series with cavity matrix and micropore by transfer matrix method to establish a new structure theoretical model. The damping coefficient and stiffness coefficient of the elastic support backwall were measured by vibration test, and the acoustic absorptivity was calculated and measured by standing wave tube test. The results show that the theoretical calculation is in good consistency with the experimental results. The new structure has both Helmholtzresonance and mechanical impedance sound absorption. The lowfrequency sound absorptivity is improved without increasing of total structure length and the middle and high frequency sound absorptivity can be kept invariant.

571 Preparation and catalytic performance of Y/MCM-41 composite molecular sieve

 Composite molecular sieve was hydrothermal synthesized by using kaolin as raw material. The samples were characterized by XRD and N2 physical adsorption, and the effects of various factors on sample textural properties were also discussed. The catalytic performance of the composite molecular sieve was investigated by alkylation reaction of phenol and tert-butyl alcohol. The results show that the composite molecular sieve with mesoporous and microporous structure was successfully hydrothermal synthesized for 24 h at 120 ℃with specific surface area of 628.9 m2·g-1 and average pore size of 2.73 nm. The composite molecular sieve exhibits good catalytic performance for the alkylation reaction of phenol and tertbutyl alcohol. The optimum molar ratio of tertbutanol to phenol is 2.0 at 140 ℃ with reaction time of 1 h and WHSV of 1.0 h-1, and the conversion of phenol is 62.2% with 4tertbutylphenol(4TBP) selectivity of 86.0%. The reaction temperature has obvious effect on the catalytic performance of composite molecular sieve. The increase of reaction temperature at low temperature range is favorable for the alkylation dominant, while the dealkylation is dominant at high temperature.

576 Lattice parameters and creep behaviors of a FGH95 Ni-based superalloy

 By microstructure observation, lattice parameters determination and creep property measurement, the microstructure and creep behaviors of FGH95 alloy were investigated. The results show that the alloy is compacted and the coarse γ′ phase discontinuously precipitates along the previous particle boundaries after hot isostatic pressing treatment. The γ′ phase amount decreases after the alloy is fullly heat treated with dispersed fine γ′ phase in grain, and the carbide particles discontinuously precipitate along grain boundaries and in grain. After HIP alloy is fully heat treated, the XRD measurement shows that the lattice parameters of γ′ phase are decreased with increased γ phase in the alloy, and the large lattice misfit and lattice strain in the interface of γ and γ′ phase leads to creep resistance of alloy possesses high to achieve long creep lifetime under the condition of 1.034 GPa and 650 ℃. The creep deformation features of the alloy are dislocations tangling, dislocations crossing or shearing into γ′ phase.

581 High-temperature oxidation resistance of austenitic stainless steel Super304H

The hightemperature oxidation properties of Super304H and Super304HS austenitic heatresistance stainless steels at various temperatures were investigated by weighting method. The results indicate that the dynamic oxidation curves of both Super304H and Super304HS show parabolical figure. The oxidation resistance property of Super304HS is markedly better than that of Super304H, and the oxidation scale of Super304H is obviously chipped off after the treatment at 900 ℃ for 100 h. Surface morphologies and structure of oxidation scales were analyzed by SEM and XRD. The results show that similar composition of Cr2O3 with small FeCr2O4 was detected in the two types of oxidation scales at 700 ℃ and 800 ℃.  The oxidation scale of Super304H at 900 ℃ mainly contains Cr2O3, Fe2O3 and FeCr2O4 , while only Cr2O3 and FeCr2O4 are observed in oxidation sacle of Super304HS.

586 Mechanism and pathways of nitrogen removal in AnRBC Anammox system

To investigate the mechanism and pathways of nitrogen removal, four microelectrodes of NH4+, NO2-, NO3- and pH were used to explore the transform of nitrogen compounds inside the granules obtained from the anaerobic rotating biological contactor (AnRBC) under different operating conditions. The results show that when the substrate concentration is sufficient, the concentration of ammonia and nitrite are decreased simultaneously from the granular surface with characteristic reaction of Anammox. When the ammonia concentration is limited in the system, ammonia is consumed by Anammox in the outer layer(0-1 200 μm), while in the inner layer(1 200-2 500 μm), nitrogen removal is by denitrification of nitrite. When there is only NOx- in granules, the pathway of nitrogen removed shows characteristic of denitrification. There are at least two nitrogen removal pathway of Anammox and autotrophic denitrification in the AnRBC system.

591 Transformation and removal of organic matter and nitrogen by integrated ecological floating bed

Three kinds of floating beds of aquatic plants floating bed A, aquatic plants with artificial medium floating bed B and integrated ecological floating bed C with aquatic plants, artificial medium and aquatic animals were established. The concentrations of organic matter and nitrogen with different forms in the beds were investigated, and the contaminant removal characteristic by different units was also analyzed. The influence of Hyriopsis cumingii on the microorganism enrichment character of artificial medium was discussed. The results show that artificial medium has obvious efficiency for removing deliquescent organic matter and nitrogen. The Hyriopsis cumingii promotes the solubilization and mineralization of particulate organic matters by filtration and digestion to realize nitrogen transformation with improved nitrogen removal rate. The Hyriopsis cumingii can increase TTCdehydrogenase activity of microorganism on artificial medium and raise the nitrifying bacteria density, which illuminates that organic matters and nitrogen removal can be improved by Hyriopsis cumingii.

596 Membrane fouling and resistance analysis of dynamic membrane bioreactor

Nylon screen mesh with mean pore size of 90 μm was used as filter cloth to develop a dynamic membrane bioreactor(DMBR)system for treating the synthetic municipal wastewater. The membrane fouling characteristics and mechanism in three parallel DMBRs operated under different aeration intensities was investigated. The results show that either small or large sludge load has negative influence on membrane permeability. The fouling cake layer can not be effectively removed with small aeration intensity. The large aeration intensity can result in a severe breakup of sludge floes to release vast colloidal and soluble components and causes a rapid decrease of membrane permeability. The colloids and solutes are the key reasons for membrane fouling of DMBR with high aeration intensity. The content and composition of extracellular polymeric substances and the sludge viscosity have marked effect on the membrane fouling of dynamic membrane bioreactor.

601 Direct shear strength model of rock mass with coplanar intermittent joints

According to theoretical analysis and model test, the direct shear strength behavior of rock mass with coplanar close intermittent joints was investigated. Through introducing deformation compatibility equation at normal direction, the direct shear strength formulation was deduced based on the MohrCoulomb theory. According to the complete stress strain curve obtained from model tests, there are five typical stages in the failure process with linear elastic increment, slippage of the joints, steady development of postcracking, the coalescence failure of discontinuous joints and the residual strength. The peak and residual strength are increased by the increase of normal stress with poor relationship between deformation property and normal stress. The peak strength decreases with the increase of the joint connectivity rate, and the drop velocity is slow at low connectivity rate. The joint distribution has influence on the strength of rock mass, and the strength of model with joints on edge is bigger than that of the model with joints in the middle. The theoretical calculation results are in good consistency with experimental results to give good description of the direct shear strength of rock mass with coplanar intermittent joints.

606 Vertical loading experiment of lightweight energy-saving composite wall

 To solve the problems of civil building wall with high weight and poor heat insulation, a new lightweight energysaving composite wall which composed lightgauge shaped steel, thermal insulation corn material and thin panel was proposed. The lightweight energysaving composite wall has properties of enclosure, separation, heatinsulation and loadbearing. Experiments of four composite wall specimens with full ratio were carried out under static vertical loads to investigate the damage pattern and calculate rules. The test results show that the selftapping screw integrates the lightgauge shaped steel and thin panel into a whole to bear vertical loads. Two styles of lightgauge shaped steel are used in the test specimens with bearing capacity of 60%, which means that the style of lightgauge shaped steel has remarkable influence on vertical bearing capacity of composite wall. The test results can provide a basis for creating calculation model and formula of bearing capacity.

611 Pinning control of complex networks with nonlinearly time-varying delay coupling

The synchronization of complex network with nonlinearly time-varying coupling was investigated, and pinning control was adopted to synchronize complex dynamical network with nonlinearly time-varying coupling. The simple controllers were designed for the coupling configuration reducible matrix and irreducible matrix. It was proved that the dynamical network could be synchronous with one isolated node by adding the controllers only into a small subset of the nodes. Based on Lyapunov stability theory and a linear matrix inequality (LMI), some sufficient synchronization conditions were derived. Numerical simulation examples were provided to verify the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed scheme by a new chaotic system.

616 M/M/1 queue of working vacations with set-up time N-policy and negative customers

 The M/M/1 queue of working vacations with setup time Npolicy negative customers was investigated for either ″positive″ or ″negative″ customers. The working vacation policy with Npolicy and setup time is exhaustive and multiple working vocation. The negative customers only remove positive customers who are being served at the head of the queue one by one. When there is no positive customer in the system, the arrived negative customers will disappear automatically without service. Based on quasi birth and death process and matrix geometric solution, the steady state distribution for queue length was obtained. The conditional stochastic decomposition structure of the queue length and the waiting time were proved.
