JIa Lishan1,Luo Jian2, Li Shiqi1
In driver assistance systems of lane departure warning, prevention and lane keeping, to solve the problems of incapable estimating the curvature in traditional linear model and enormous computing work in curve fitting method, an innovative curvature estimation method was proposed based on linear model with global description in lane markings and with line fitting to candidate points of far end.According to abundant candidate points with Hough transformation of linear detection, the lane detection and curvature estimation were robustly achieved by the proposed method. The road curvature estimation method was validated by a real vehicle test with GPS. The results show that the proposed method has good curvature estimation accuracy with real time capability.

Ni Hongjun1, Lv Cancan1, Wang Xuhong2, Jiang Xuefan2,Tang Dong3
The MCMB/G sintered tube with graphite doping was used as cathode supporter to prepare the diffusion layer and catalyst layer. The cathode tube was wrapped with Nafion 117 membrane to be assembled into specialshaped direct ethanol fuel cell. A carbon supported PtSnO2/C catalyst was prepared by hydrothermal method and characterized by XRD, TEM and EDS. The specialshaped direct ethanol fuel cell (SDEFC) performance with PtSnO2/C catalyst was determined by linear cyclic voltammetry (LCV) technique and electrochemical impedance spectroscopic (EIS). The effects of work temperature and O2 flow rate on cell polarization performance were also investigated. The results show that the impedance of the specialshaped cell is higher than that of traditional flat electrode, but decreases obviously after being activated. The power density of SDEFC with PtSnO2/C catalyst can reach 8.5 mW·cm-2 at 60 ℃.

Li Xuesong, Yu Xiumin, Cheng Xiusheng, Miao Liying
In order to obtain the velocity and pressure distribution characteristics in each flow unit field, the fullflow channel geometry model was extracted as compute domain to conduct the threedimension transient numerical simulation of gasliquid twophase flow in hydraulic retarder based on the large eddy simulation method and sliding mesh theory for multiflow regions coupled calculation in CFD software. Mixture model and Eulerian model were used alternately to achieve the structure change of internal flow field and the volume distribution of the twophase flow under different filling rate. The generation mechanism of secondary flow, flow separation and vortex was analyzed, and the external retarder characteristic was also calculated. The results show that the numerical results are in good consistency with experimental data with the error less than 8%. The large eddy simulation method can effectively simulate the true flow structure in hydraulic retarder flow field and conduct retarder design and structural optimization.

390 Numerical simulation for combustion process of diesel engine and improvement of combustion chamber
Pan Jianfeng, Lu Qingbo, Wang Qian, Wan Yanhui, Zhang Mengyun
In order to improve the mixture formation and combustion quality in combustion chamber of DLH1105 diesel engine, the cylinder spray and combustion process were numerically simulated. Three combustion chambers of open combustion chamber, toroidal combustion chamber and reentrant combustion chamber were designed at constant compression ratio. 3D numerical simulation of the three type combustion chambers were achieved by STARCD software to obtain flow field, distribution of fuel mass fraction and temperature field in the diesel engine cylinder. The simulation result shows that cylinder spray and combustion process are consistent with those of visualized experiment, which means that the method of computational simulation is reliable. Reentrant combustion chamber has strong squish with long swirl period, which results in better mixture gas and combustion performance than those of toroidal combustion chamber and open combustion chamber. The pressure and temperature in reentrant combustion cylinder are high with low shoot formation and high NO amount.

LI Li-Lin-1,2, WANG Zhong-1, LI Ming-Di-1, CHEN Lin-1, XU Guang-Ju-1
According to the low pressure premix flame CHEMKIN model, the chemical change of combustion process was simulated for the same quantity of ethanol and dimethyl ether which have different functional group with same molecular formula. The intermediaries and the difference of OH, H, O radicals were compared. The chemical change of consumption process of ethanol and dimethyl ether were investigated by rate of production and sensitivity analysis. The sensitive analysis to the combustion product of ethylene and the formaldehyde were also investigated. The results indicate that functional group has tremendous influence on the formation of fuel combustion and pollutant. With carrier gas of nitrogen for same flame altitude, the reaction rate of dimethyl ether is bigger than that of ethanol with more quantitative product of OH,H,O radicals than those of ethanol. The combustion product of ethylene for dimethyl ether is less than that for ethanol, while the situation is the opposite for formaldehyde product. The main reason is the bondbreak and rebond of C—C bond.

402 Numerical simulation of recirculation control at centrifugal pump inlet
ZHANG Jin-Feng, LIANG Yun, YUAN Jian-Ping, YUAN Shou-Qi
During partload operation, recirculation was inevitably developed at pump impeller inlet. Based on standard k-ε turbulent model, the 3D steady turbulent flow in a centrifugal pump was simulated under different conditions to analyze the velocity distribution of the recirculation flow field and the vortex morphology. To solve recirculation, a control strategy of injecting high pressure water into impeller inlet was proposed. The control effects, the recirculation vortex morphology and the pump head and efficiency with different injection pressure were analyzed and compared through numerical simulation. The result indicates that high pressure water injection can effectively control inlet recirculation and improve the velocity distribution in inlet flow field with decreased   recirculation vortex strength and recirculation onset critical flow rate, but also with decreased pump head and efficiency. Based on the experiment results, the optimum injection pressure in the proposed control stratgy is 0.10 MPa.

408 Numerical analysis of unsteady cavitating flow characteristic in centrifugal pump
YANG Min-Guan, SUN Xin-Kai, GAO Bo, SHAO Teng
Based on full cavitation model and mixed two phase flow model, the steady and unsteady cavitating flow passages in centrifugal pump with specific speed of 130 were numerically simulated. The region and the degree of cavitation in the centrifugal pump flow passage were predicted. The characteristics of pressure fluctuation was achieved by monitoring the pressure fields around the volute tongue. The simulation results indicate that the cavitation generates at the suction side of blades near leading edge. The region of vapor extends and the volume fraction of vapor increases with the decreasing of total inlet pressure. The vapor appears on the pressure side of blades when the cavitation is deteriorated. The cavitation degree on each blade changes periodically with the change of relative position between impeller and volute. The frequency of pressure fluctuation shows obvious discrete characteristic with high blade passing frequency amplitude. With the development of cavitation degree, the pressure fluctuation amplitude induced by cavitating flow in flowpassage is increased with a corresponding relationship.

414 Thermoelastic response of a solid sphere under transient thermal shock
WANG Ying-Ze, ZHANG Xiao-Bing, GE Feng-Hua
Based on linear thermoelastic theory, the equations of revised non-Fourier heat conduction and thermoelastic motion were combined to establish thermoelastic dynamic mode with consideration of deformation acceleration effect  and non -Fourier effect under the condition of transient thermal shock. The analytical solution of isotropic spherical structure was derived by Laplace transform and Limit Hankel transform method. The numerical calculation was conducted to achieve the temperature and stress distributions and to obtain the influence of non- Fourier effect on thermoelastic response. The result shows that the dynamic shock effect induced by the deformation acceleration  is enhanced by non-Fourier heat conduction with increased peak stress. The influence on the stress is increased with the increasing of thermal relaxation time.

CHEN Hui-Long, ZHAO Ying-Chun, LIN Qing-Long, DENG Yun-Tian, LI Wen-Yu, WU Rong-Zhen
In order to investigate the mechanism of lime slurry droplet charging and absorbing SO2, the electrostatic spraying twophase flow field of lime slurry was numerically simulated. Geometric model, electrostatic model and twophase flow model were established based on the characteristics of desulphurization tower and charge electron spray desulphurization. The characteristic of ringlike electrostatic field was obtained by extending commercial Fluent 6.3 function to achieve the coupled simulation between electrostatic field and twophase flow field. The two phase flow characteristics and desulphurization effect under the condition of slurry electric charge were analyzed. The results show that the distribution of electric intensity is basically symmetrical about the desulfurization tower axis. The electric intensity decreases rapidly with the increasing of distance away from electrode. The outboard entrainment zone is increased and the velocity is decreased by electron charge in slurry drop, and the zone near electrode effected by jet flow is shortened to strengthen the two phase contact and SO2 absorption. The electrostatic charged desulphurization with same flows direction is better than that with opposite flow direction.

A novel 3-DOF parallel mechanism platform with one translation and two rotations was designed to improve dynamic performance of mechanical and electrical products and ensure the accuracy of the original products under multi-vibration working conditions. The theoretical Jacobian matrix formula of the platform was analyzed to calculate the real Jacobian matrix of a specific position. According to the theoretical results of Jacobian matrix, the modal analysis of the parallel vibration absorber system was achieved to obtain the natural frequency of the system. The three-dimensional model of multi-dimensional parallel damping platform was built by Adams software to obtain the transmission rate of the system. A prototype of multi-dimensional vibration absorber system was manufactured to measure the transfer function. With theoretical result of 4.089 2 Hz, simulating result of 4.219 Hz and testing result of 4.6 Hz, the results show that the designing theory and analytical method of the vibration are reasonable.

HE Rong-Hai, MA Hai-Le
Angiotensin  I converting enzyme inhibitory (ACEI) peptides extracted from Porphyra yezoensis protein were purified and identified. The stability and antihypertensive effect of peptides on spontaneously hypertensive rats were also investigated. After two-step reverse phase high performance liquid chromatography purification, two ACEI peptides were achieved and identified by liquid chromatography mass spectrometry analysis as Cys Ser Asn Arg and ProCysHisTrpw with 50% inhibitory concentration on Angiotensin I converting enzyme of 24.71 μmol·L-1 and 5.38 μmol·L-1, respectively. The results indicate that Porphyra yezoensis ACEI peptides are stable under neutral or acidic condition, but with poor resistance to high temperature. The significant antihypertensive effect of Porphyra yezoensis ACEI peptides (MW<3 ku fraction) on spontaneously hypertensive rats was observed in oral administration test, and the blood pressure of rats decreases obviouly with the increasing of dose.

LI Qing-Lin, MAO Han-Ping, LI Ping-Ping, ZUO Zhi-Yu, HU Jing
To investigate the micro-mechanical properties of cucumber mesophyll cell wall, the uniaxial compression experiment was carried out at nano-indentation tester after the treatments of  fixing, dehydrating, embedding and slicing for mesophyll tissue. Loading-unloading curve shows that the cell wall deforms elastically when the stress is less than 1.0 MPa, and deforms plastically when the stress is more than 1.0 MPa. The stress-strain relationship is of linear for the stress less than 0.4 MPa, and with nonlinear relationship for the stress more than 0.4 MPa. In order to exactly describe the mechanical properties of cell wall, the MooneyRuvlin model with 2 parameters was used to regress experimental data. The deduced model parameters of C1 and C2 are 0.792 MPa and 0.195 MPa, respectively.

440 Experiments on rheological properties of TOR asphalt rubber
XIAO Peng, WU Mei-Ping, ZHOU Xin
In order to investigate rheological properties of TOR rubber asphalt, asphalts were determined by Brinell viscosity and dynamic shear rheometer (DSR) after film oven and pressure aging treatments. The preparation and test method of modified asphalt were proposed, and the influences of TOR on the asphalt rubber properties of complex modulus, phase angle, rut factor, viscosity and fatigue factor were analysed. The results show that the complex modulus is increased by adding TOR, but with decreased phase angle. TOR can promote the compatibility between waster rubber powder particles and asphalt with increased rutting resistance at high temperature. The rut factors of asphalt, asphalt rubber and TOR asphalt rubber are all increased after heat aging with increased viscositytemperature sensitivity. Compared with asphalt rubber, TOR asphalt rubber has better rutting resistance in actual process. The fatigue resistance of TOR asphalt rubber is improved and better than that of asphalt rubber at low temperature after pressure aging. The resistance abilities of TOR asphalt rubber to heat, oxygen and water are effectively improved after pressure aging with water.

YANG Juan, SUN Lei, CHENG Xiao-Nong, ZHOU Ya-Zhou, ZHAO Nan
In order to improve the lipophilic of graphite oxide and obtain stable dispersion in toluene, graphite oxide was prepared by improved Hummers method. Hydrophobic functionalized graphite oxide was prepared with different reaction conditions via solvothermal method using graphite oxide as precursor and dodecylamine (DDA) as modification reagent. The samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), UV-Vis instrument, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR)、Raman spectra and contact angle measurements. The effects of reaction conditions on the product structure and the hydrophobic effect were investigated. The results show that carboxyl groups are reacted with DDA to generate amide groups. The modified graphite oxide prepared at 120 ℃ for 3 h can be uniformly dispersed in toluene. The contact angle of the modified graphite oxide film prepared by vacuum filtration is increased from 16.9° to 101.7°.

HE Shi-Quan, XIAO Hong, FAN Ding, SHI Yu
To obtain real time detection of unfitness defect in highfrequency weld(HFW) pipe, a CCD visual measurement system was developed. The characteristic of the unfitness defect in captured image was analyzed. The image processing of misalignment was conducted by morphology method to extract edge image and the width and brightness of welding seam. The results show that the width and brightness of welding seam can be used as characteristic parameters to detect the unfitness defect  in HFW pipe and to establish a visual system for inspecting welding unfitness. At the LabVIEW virtual instrument, the controlled temperature system of HFW pipe was established by colorimetric temperature measurement to realize controlled temperature test. The test results  show that the influences of dust, moisture and other interference factors on temperature measurement can be better reduced by colorimetry temperature measurement mode to improve the stability and precision of temperature. At the basis of stable and accurate temperature measurement, the effective temperature control system can be realized.

To restrain interface reaction in the welding of SiCp/Al metal matrix composites(MMCs), and to form new reinforced composites insitu by complementing burnt metallic elements, two fluxcored wires of Al-Ti-Si and Al-Ti-Mg were filled respectively in plasma arc in-situ weld-alloying of SiCp/Al MMCs in plasma gases of argon and nitrogen. The influences of two fluxcored wires on microstructures and mechanical properties of SiCp/Al MMCs joints were investigated. The results show that the formation of needlelike harmful phases of Al4C3 are effectively inhibited by both of the two flux-cored wire fillers. The fluidity of molten pool is improved, and the stable molten pool is obtained. The mechanical properties of welded joint are effectively enhanced by the compactgrain structure and the new reinforced composites of TiC,TiN,AlN,Ti5Si3,MgAl2O4 and fine grain Al3Ti. The maximum tensile strength of welded joints are 232 MPa and 196 MPa, respectively.

XU Bo-Qiang, YUE Qu-Ji, CHEN An-Qi, Xu Chen-Guang, XU Gui-Dong
Based on the fluidstructure interaction theory, finite element method was used to numerically simulate the Leaky Lamb waves derived from piezoelectric wafer active sensor of anisotropic plate in ideal fluid. The dispersion and attenuation characteristics of Leaky Lamb waves in unidirectional fiber reinforced composites were analyzed to obtain the numerical solution of full wave field. The effects of different orientation of fiber with different excitative frequencies on the waveform were discussed. The results show that two modes of Leaky Lamb waves exist simultaneously in anisotropic plate immersed in ideal fluid. One is a Non-dispersive and barely attenuation mode of S0, the other is a dispersive and attenuation mode of A0. Velocity, dispersion and attenuation characteristics of waveform are significantly affected by fiber orientation. The quantitative relation between the excitation, the material parameters and the corresponding waveform was established by numerical simulation to provide a theoretical basis for NET and NDE applications of Leaky Lamb waves.

463 Mechanical behavior of transfer column with different details in SRCRC hybrid structure
WU Kai, XUE Jian-Yang, ZHAO Hong-Tie
The low cyclic reversed loading experiment of seven transfer columns of SRC-RC hybrid structure and one reinforced concrete column was carried out to investigate the mechanical behavior of transfer columns with different details. The seven transfer column specimens were all failed with shear pattern at the reinforced concrete part of upper transfer column, which means that bearing capacity of transfer column is better than that of reinforced concrete column. Displacement ductility and deformation ability of transfer column are quite different, which vary from 1.97 to 5.99 and  from 1/54 to 1/21, respectively. When rotated angle of the transfer column reaches 1/50, the degenerated strength ratios of five specimens with different details are all over 0.9, which illuminates that the capacity of cyclic loading resistance is quite good. Secant stiffness of transfer column is higher than that of reinforced concrete column, which is at the interval of reinforced concrete column and steel reinforced concrete column.

474 Deflection estimation of concrete slab reinforced with GFRP bars with consideration of arching action
LI Chun-Hong, Wei-De-Min, ZHENG Yu
In the United States Code for design of  concrete structures (ACI440.1—06), the deflections of concrete slab reinforced with glass fiber reinforced polymer (GFRP) bars were often overestimated because of unconsideration of arching action. In order to obtain an accurate deflection estimation method, seventeen concrete slab strips restrained at end were tested with concentrated loads at mid-span until being failed. The results  show that arching action becomes gradually significant after cracking. Deflection development can be divided into three stages of before cracking, cracking and forming arching action. Based on the test results of seventeen concrete slab strips and literature report, the arching action was quantified to deduce deflection estimation method by virtual work principle. When the deflections are 1/800 and 1/350 of clear span, the load predicted by ACI are 0.388 and 0.411 times of test result, respectively, while those of proposed method are 0.969 and 1.044. Compared with the prediction by ACI, the proposed deflection estimation has better coincidence with test result.

480 Optimization of solidphase extraction conditions using response surface methodology to determine 17βestradiol in sewage
YANG Xiao-Li, CHEN Ming, SHEN Dan-Qun, FU Da-Fang, ZHOU Qiong
Response surface methodology (RSM) was used to optimize the solid phase extraction (SPE) process for determining 17β-estradiol (E2) in sewage. A quadratic equation between the extraction recovery rate and main effect factors was established. The results indicate that the sequence of three main influence factors on recovery is elution volume> sample rate>elution rate. The optimal operating conditions of SPE are obtained with elution volume of 10.54 mL, sample rate of 10.25 mL·min-1 and elution rate of 4.06 mL·min-1. Under the optimal conditions, E2 recovery rates of actual sewage from three sewage treatment plants (STPs) located in Jiangsu are ranged from 67.2%to 83.4%. E2 concentrations in the influent of STPs are the range of 21.6 to 78.0 ng·L-1. The three STPs all have some effect on the E2 removal with average removal rates of 68.33% for SBR process, 59.34% for oxidation ditch process and 64.18% for A2/O process. The final effluent concentrations of E2 in the three STPs still reach the range of  8.4 to 22.1 ng·L-1, which are several times higher than that of predicted noneffect concentration.

491 Fuzzy impulsive control of nonlinear systems based on Type-2 T-S
LI Yi-Min, SUN Yuan-Yuan, ZHAO Tong
A novel impulsive control strategy based on interval Type-2 T-S fuzzy model was proposed for nonlinear systems to make up for the drawback of Type-1 fuzzy impulsive control. Based on the “broad band” effect of the Type-2 membership functions,  the noise of training data and exterior disturbance of Type-1 fuzzy impulsive control were solved by the proposed strategy. According to Lyapunov theory and Lipschitz condition, the Type-2 fuzzy impulsive controller was designed to obtain the general asymptotical stability analysis of the systems by integrated approaches of comparison method and linear matrix inequalities. The simulation of the inverted pendulum model can easily determine the membership functions with minimum fuzzy rules, which demonstrates that the proposed strategy is effective and resonable.
