Antirutting performance of LY asphalt mixture under special conditions#br# |

Abstract To verify the effect of LY antirutting agent on the high temperature performance of asphalt mixture, LY antirutting agent, Karamay 90# asphalt, SBS (1C) modified asphalt and basalt were used as test materials, and AC16C mineral aggregate gradation was selected to prepare the asphalt mixture. The antirutting properties of different kinds of asphalt mixtures were investigated under the special conditions of overload temperature, high temperature immersion and different rolling times. The results show that using the dynamic stability ratio to represent the high temperature performance, the antirutting performance of the mixed materials under high temperature overload and high temperature immersion can be obviously improved by LY antrutting agent. An appropriate increase of rolling times can improve the dynamic stability of LY modified asphalt mixture, while increasing the rolling times has little effect on the high temperature performance of 0.4%LY modified asphalt mixture. With 36 rolling times, the 0.4%LY modified asphalt mixture can obtain the best high temperature antirutting performance.
