Abstract Rotor axis rotor. Detailed rotor their frequencies locus is an important basis for estimating the running states and faults of mechanical faults were analyzed and several typical faults and corresponding characteristics of orbits of shaft center line were studied. An axis locus analyzing system based on intelligent virtual control was developed, and the signal acquisition and analysis were realized by using LabVIEW7.0 and transferring the dynamic link library (DLL) function in VC ^++ The results indicate that axis locus, axis location and the wave and spectrum of two orthogonal vibration signals can be real-time displayed, and some common faults of rotating machinery can be diagnosed by using the measurement system.
