Abstract:The cooperation of pervasive services is studied. A context-aware service platform PerServ is proposed in terms of characteristic of context information. User submits requirement through the portal, then system parses user's task and appoints the task to available pervasive service. The platform is able to require, manage and use context effectively. The service composition process considers the service function while service execution process builds service paths based on the context of service and dynamically involves the service path in accordance with the change of context, so that to satisfy user's requirement. PerServ employs agent technology to achieve the function. Service agent is used in device management and service registration. It also receives instructions and invokes related service, which serves as an intermediation among services.
