User-QoE-based access strategy of indoor visible light communication system

Abstract:Under the scenario of visible light communication (VLC) indoor network, to solve the problem of users with difficult accessing the appropriate light emitting diode (LED) for achieving high quality traffic service, a usercentric greedy algorithm access strategy was proposed based on quality of experience (QoE) probabilistic coverage model. QoE was introduced as the system performance evaluation criterion. The simulation was completed on MATLAB platform. The greedy algorithm was compared with the proximity access method according to user density, coverage probability, access threshold and field of view. The results show that the greedy access algorithm based on QoE has high system stability, large proportion of users average scheduling, good average QoE per user and good fairness.
