Abstract:In order to get the development of reflective cracking in different structures of asphalt mixture, the extended finite element was used to realize numerical simulation of three typical structures of suspensiondense, frameworkdense and voidskeleton. The bottomup process of cracking in asphalt mixture was obtained, while the antireflective properties of four typical crack asphalt materials of AC, ATB, SMA and LSPM were analyzed. The propagation paths of crack and the mechanical responses at different crack extension stages in three structures were compared. The results show that the more obvious the skeleton structure of asphalt mixture is, the shorter the crack mouth opening displacement and the crack length are, and the lower the maximum principle of the last period is. The skeleton structure can effectively reduce the reflective cracking and hinder crack development.
