Shaking table test and oretical analysis on RC frame- shear wall structures with special-shaped columns

Abstract:Theoretical analysis and experimental test on the seismic performance were conducted. The dynamic characteristics, response and destroyed form in different intensity of reinforcement concrete frame-shear wall structure with special-shaped columns were studied by ways of shaking table test and elastic-plastic analysis for a 12-story structure. The results showed that this structure system has good seismic behavior and strong capacity for resisting rare earthquake. It could meet the requirements of seismic fortification criterion and be applied to mid-highrise residentical buildings.
