Abstract:In order to assess oil retail outlet net environmental risk, a synthetical method is proposed. In developing this method, the characteristics of the oil retail outlet net environmental risk, which are multisource, multi-path and multi-object are considered. On the basis of fuzzy mathematics, the environmental risk degree and its uncertainty are calculated by the sensitivity and the condition indicators. A partitioned figure of the oil retail outlet net at different environmental risk levels can be obtained. This method was applied to assess an oil retail outlets net consisted of several hundreds gas stations in South Jiangsu. 33 high risk gas stations and their main risk factors were identified and validated by site investigation. The environmental risk assessment results can provide stakeholders with better information for optimizing the oil retail outlets net, establishing risk prevention measures and managing emergencies.
