Abstract The earliest edition of Anthology of the Middle State appeared in the fifth year under the reign of Xianzong of Mongolia. In the Yuan Dynasty, the Jinde Study by the Caos in Pingshui revised and printed it during the Zhida years. In the Ming Dynasty, the Guangqin Study during the Xuande years, Li Han during the Hongzhi years, and the late Ming Mao Jin and his Jigu Study, all brought out their own editions. The Qing Dynasty boasted the Siku Quanshu edition and Guangxu Dushu Shanfang edition. In the Republic of China, the songfen Study by the Dongs in Wujin xeroxed the Yuan edition, the base of two other editions: the Siku series edition and the Zhonghua Book Company edition. In addition, it has many editions in Japan, the best being the one annotated byBesides, zhongzhouji has been translated and published in Japan for many times, the best version among them was the edition of Kondo Gensui.
