With the deepening of agricultural division of labor, rural households are divided into nonfarming ones and professional farmers, and the family members choices of career are affected by each other. So, based on the theory of integrating career choice theory and intergenerational transmission,this paper divides career choice into choice industry and choice area,and uses multivariate and binary logistic regression to analyze the influence of parents on their childrens career choices. The research shows that: In childrens choice of industry, parents have a significant impact on their career choices,with the children choosing different careers from their fathers while there is a certain intergenerational transmission between the mothers and their children; In the childrens choice area, the parents have a significant impact on their children,with a certain intergenerational transmission between the fathers and their children; The childrens career choices are affected by their fathers risk perception, their mothers career choice area, individual factors, family household registration population and income status; The childrens choice area is also affected by individual factors and family factors.
