Abstract:Tao Te Ching is a Taoist classic and the fruit of the Taoist master Lao Tzu. The Left Hand of Darkness is one of Ursula Le Guins science fictions, manifesting the authors Taoist ideas featuring philosophical speculation through fiction. The Taoist world creates harmony and peace, and abandons the centralization and marginalization inherent in Logos. And the harmony and peace finds its way into The Left Hand of Darkness, in which the emotional affinity between Genly Ai and Estraven embodies Le Guins Taoist idea of “combining two into one”. Estravens Tao breaks through the fortress of patriarchy and the Logocentrism represented by Genly.
