Abstract：The problems in the management and running of the rural school buses in Jiangsu Province are pointed out based on its status quo， and in line with the actual situation of Jiangsu rural school buses， the operation and management mode is advanced by studying and establishing the theories of management in line with the rural school bus characteristics and regulations. Such a mode is approached from the six aspects of law, market access， establishment of supervisory department, educational layout and school bus needs, management and running mode, and safety and supervision so as to improve the safety and management of Jiangsu rural school buses.
