Abstract: The contemporary ideology has put on the cloak of “tools”, “symbols”, and “consumer goods” in the new media era. Mass communication refines ideology by the such symbolization process as legalization, ostentation, specification, decentralization and integration. The audience's acceptance and utilization vary in mode and feature with the spreading mode of symbolization, the reception, occupation and construction of media information. So, ideological safety can only be guaranteed by careful construction of ideological symbolization after investigation of its status quo, and strengthening the management of media institutions and network platform, especially building a high-quality team.
