Application of ECG scatterplot in the rapid diagnosis of parasystole rhythm |

Abstract Parasystole rhythm refers to lower pacemaker and dominant rhythm competing and interfering with each other, resulting in controlling ventricle or auricle mutually or alternately, which is a kind of active arrhythmia. Since the complete picture of parasystole rhythm usually can not be recognized by a fragment of body surface electrocardiogram, missed diagnosis and misdiagnosis happen frequently. Twenty-four-hour ambulatory electrocardiography records the whole process of competition and interference between the dominant rhythm and parasystole rhythm while these information is expressed as t-RR scatterplot, Lorenz scatterplot, and difference scatterplot by analysis software on all aspects and angles. It makes it possible for us to analyze the relatively complex arrhythmia of parasystole rhythm quickly and accurately. For the rapid recognization of parasystole rhythm is based on comprehending its scatterplot characteristics, this paper summarizes 3 kinds of scatterplot features of parasystole rhythm, combined with practical cases.
