Abstract Endocrine therapy slows down the tumor progression by interfering activation pathway of sex hormones. A variety of new breakthrough drugs improve the survival rates of patients with breast and prostate cancers. Sex hormones are the important factors that affect repolarization of ventricular cardiomyocytes(RVC), and highly associated with abnormal RVCinduced malignant arrhythmia. Specifically, it was reported that drugs used for endocrine therapy resulted in electrophysiological changes, including atrial fibrillation, QTc prolongation and torsade de pointes, increasing the mortality in patients with tumor. The paper summarizes the changes of electrocardiogram that induced by drugs used for endocrine therapy in patients with tumor.
