Abstract Objective To evaluate the significance of heart rate recovery(HRR), heart rate variability(HRV) after treadmill exercise test and its clinical value in coronary heart disease(CAD). Methods 310 cases of suspicious coronary artery disease who underwent treadmill exercise test weredivided into CAD group and noncoronary artery disease(NCAD) group according to coronary artery angiogram. HRR value of the two groups were compared, thestandard time, resting heart rate and exercise maximum heart rate, abnormal HRR as a diagnostic criterion for CAD, Compare its accuracy with treadmillexercise test in the diagnosis of CAD. Simultaneous analysis of shortterm HRV. Results HRR after CAD is lower than the NCAD group, the differencewas significant; CAD rate variability compared with nonCAD group, the difference was statistically significant. Conclusion CAD group compared withthe nonCAD group, HRR and HRV significantly differs,can be used to diagnose CAD.
