| Some electrocardiographic phenomena revealed by interpolated ventricular premature contraction |

Abstract This paper points out that interpolated ventricular premature contraction(IVPC) can reveal some interesting electrocardiographic phenomena, by analyzing and illustrating practical cases with various electrocardiographic phenomena resulted from IVPC, such as Chung's phenomenon, acchrochage phenomenon, changes of PR interval, deferred compensation, Wenckebach's phenomenon, reciprocal beat, intraventricular aberrant conduction, electrotonic modulated ST-T changes, gap phenomenon of atrioventricular conduction, etc. It is very important for us to recognize those phenomena accurately, in order to get deep understanding and correct use of cardiac electrophysiology knowledge, and improve diagnostic and differential diagnostic abilities of arrhythmia ECG. Additionally, it points out that ST/T changes after IVPC may be related to electrotonic modulation.
