Abstract:ObjectiveTo investigate the epidemiological characteristics of early repolarization syndrome(ERS) in Tibetan population. Methods Collect the basic information and 12 lead ECG data of 8 628 Tibetan college students and postgraduates from different districts and elevations, and count the incidence of ERS and its distribution in different leads of ECG, according to the two types, that was, Jwave and Jpointelevation type separately.ResultsThe general incidence of ERS of the Tibetan people was 13.6%, with higher rate in males than females (P<0.05) . The incidence of Jwavetyped ERS was 4.32% while the other type was 9.31%. ConclusionERS is not rare in natural population, but its incidence is higher in Tibetans, which hints us to consider the relation between the high incidence and their living environment, genetic gene as well as cardiovascular disease.
